Todo os anos a Escola Kitesurf Adventure realiza uma kitetrip para o nordeste Brasileiro, melhor lugar do mundo para o Kitesurf!! Cumbuco é a nossa base entre julho e agosto, Lugar onde venta todos os dias e tem opções de velejo para todos os gostos.

Esse é o clima da kitetrip,  muito velejo, curtição, amizade e aventura!

KiteTrip Cumbuco 2014 1ª Semana

A 4ª temporada da kitetrip Cumbuco 2014 iniciou no dia 22/07 e foi até dia 31/08. Foram 40 dias de muito vento, kitesurf, sol, novas amizades, risadas,.....muitos alunos e amigos passaram pela nossa casa. Uns ficaram 5 dias outros chegaram a ficar mais de 15. Percorremos muitos km por dentro e fora d´água.Foi uma experiencia única curtir esta viagem com tantas pessoas especiais. Tiramos muitas fotos, mas  selecionamos uma de cada integrante para transmitir um pouco do que foi a trip.

O Cumbuco é conhecido com um dos melhores lugares para a prática do kitesurf. Sua diversidade de condições, com ventos quentes e constantes é tudo que o velejador precisa para uma trip de kite perfeita.

Os melhores riders do mundo viajam para o Cumbuco para treinar e aperfeiçoar suas manobras. A condição é tão perfeita que atualmente os velejadores locais estão entre os tops do circuito mundial (PKRA).

Uma das partes mais interessantes do Cumbuco são os downwinds, com a Lagoa do Cauípe situada a 8 km da vila local, é muito comum ver vários velejadores seguindo o vento, aproveitando toda a variedade de condições para chegar ao Cauípe. No meio do caminho, encontramos ondas para o kitewave ou mesmo kickers (rampas) para os freestylers. No final, uma lagoa totalmente flat os esperam para um treino de Freestyle com os melhores atletas da modalidade.

Cumbuco is known as one of the best kitesurfing spots. Its diversity of conditions with warm and constant winds is all that a kitesurfer needs for a perfect kitesurfing trip.

The best riders around the world constantly travel to Cumbuco both to train and to improve them tricks. The condition is so perfect that even the local riders are among the PKRA's top riders.

One of the most interesting aspects of Cumbuco are the downwinds, with the Cauípe’s Lagoon situated around 8 km from the local village, It’s pretty common to see several riders following the wind untill getting to Cauípe. On this way they can enjoy a wave formation to kitesurfing and even kickers for the freestylers. At the end of the ride a totally flat lagoon awaits for a freestyle session with the best athletes of the modality.

In life it is all about riding waves and being on the water. Try to push yourself really hard to get better and better. When there is no wind, surfing is the best thing in the world. Really connecting with the ocean and ride wave after wave after wave. Once the wind kicks in and the surf gets messy it’s really cool to grab the kite and ride these same waves over and over again.

Ryan Coote weaves some mighty fine lines through the madness that was winter 2013 / 2014 . The 13 side of the winter was great with some savage sessions and perfect conditions, then the crazy switch was flipped for the 14 side.Everything was turned upside down. The weather turned violent and smooth steady wind was a rarity. The storms came too close together and made it hard to find organised swell and winds. We did manage to score some great solo session between the madness. I love kitesurfing. I love kitesurfing in ireland.

They´ve shown it during the World Tour and just pushed the boundaries in freestyle wave riding again at the Red Bull Unfastened invitational event in Sardinia. Mystic Pro Brasil - Imbituba 2014
